To train lay responders to overcome any reluctance to act in emergency situations, and to recognize and care for life-threatening respiratory or cardiac emergencies in adults and children. Provide the lay responder with the knowledge and skills necessary in an emergency to help sustain life and to minimize pain and the consequences of injury or sudden illness until professional medical help arrives.
The senses are a natural tool to help us identify risks and or present danger. It’s critical that WE use our five senses--sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch--to keep alert and learn how to identify signs of abuse.

Is designed to decrease the frequency of risky sexual behavior and related HIV/STD infection among adolescents. Based on cognitive-behavior theory, the program uses group discussions, videos, games, brainstorming, experiential exercises, and skill-building activities to improve teens knowledge about HIV and STDs, and to increase self-efficacy and skills that might help to avoid risky sexual behavior (e.g., abstinence, condom use).
